Hello! This is Jamie Harris, Shelby’s mom, from Beaumont. I hope this e-mail finds you all doing well and Mik responding well to her treatments! We are still struggling over here, but recent tests have provided more information that we are hopeful can lead to an improvement of Shelby’s symptoms and quality of life.

I nominated Shelby a while back for a Hope kit, but she has not received it yet. That is certainly OK because I know you are all very busy with life and managing Mik’s illness, but I hate to nominate her again because it might mess up your counts of who’s been nominated and who hasn’t!

Also, Shelby and I will be travelling to Minnesota in 3 weeks for her to attend a program at the Mayo Clinic. Do you have any MHHA sweatshirts for sale? I know it will be cold there, and that might be a good thing for her to wear that could keep her warm and also spread the word to the other chronic teens about MHHA! It is a 3-week program for teens with chronic pain and illness, so there will other kids there that might want to join MHHA.

Please get back with me on the sweatshirt (or even t-shirt) and let me know the cost and how to place an order.

    Thank you!

    Jamie Harris
