Love this quote from one of our Hidden Moms about a great way of viewing the parent’s role as a caregiver when chronic illness is…chronic. Thanks for letting us share, Leslie!

“I quit telling Kat that things will get better and just remind her of the good things we do have in our lives. Will our kids be normal? No…but it doesn’t mean they can’t be happy. And that’s where we come in, that’s our job and it’s hard but we love them so we do it.
And your sense of humor is obviously a plus in providing happiness…”
